I used to have Equifax for a year, which was free and suitable, they email you EVERYDAY to let you know your score and where you stand. You also get an alert when your score goes down. They also let you know right away if your social security is being used. Now they are charging you to monitor your credit. If you are 1 day late with your mortgage, credit card, phone bill, car note, it can affect your credit score. If you are trying to maintain your credit, set up an automatic pay that way you don't have to worry about your score dropping.
Every 4 months, you can request a FREE report from Equifax and Experian, there is one more nom an paka rentre nan tet mwen, you can monitor your credit without paying a dime and you just have to be careful where you are giving out your social security and your credit card.
Ms. Simply I want to be in the 750 club...
I enrolled in myfico yesterday...I am a credit score addict...mwen tcheke l each month...paying out of pocket up to 30 dollars a month to make sure I am on track lol
I am beginning to think I am addicted to this thing lol...it makes me happy to see my score go higher and higher...
My credit is GOOD now according to ALL three companies lol but I was to be in the 750 club...750 and higher and you can own the damn world si w vle lol..
every 4 months lan too long lol
I have them that says everyday monitoring lan tou
but the new myfico one will let you know your score INSTANTLY each time there is a change...whether an inquiry of if I go 5 dollars over on my credit cards...se sak fe m enroll last night...mwen te panse ke gen de twa moun la ki te gen bizniz ak yo or have one better...but hey...mwen pwal swiv ak yo toujou to see if they work...
If you just started, it will take you at least a year and a half or two to get that. These things don't get high overnight. Monitoring it everyday will not make it get higher either. (tongue) You will need to keep a good payement history on your loans and your credit cards, let's just say your BILLS epi'w bon. Not 1 day late for a 12 months period, non selman sa, you should NOT have a high balance on your MULTIPILE credit cards. Epi'w belle ti fi. (wink)
I have those on lock :)
my next steps and that is why I am monitoring daily :) are:
1- I have 30% credit use and I want to lower them to 20% using this option only...
GET NEW CREDIT
which scares me lol
I know a lot of folks who know I have high limits and want to use them...yo di nou se family, nou se zanmi fe ti sa pou mwen lol...so I am busy educating, telling them that when the blan gives you 10000 on a credit card, the blan does NOT want you to use the whole amount but only 20% meaning se 2000 goud selman li vle w use...lol
so since my avg use is very high according to the blan...I need to trim my use (which is hard for me paske depi m depressed I go to a resto or a movie on my cc and not my bank card (lol) I hate using my bc...mwen pa renmen we le balans li ap desann LMAO
soooooo in applying for new credit, thus far it costs me 5 points for my new card and I want to add about 3 or 4 more without increased use of credit limit tu konprann...soooooooo I need to know everyday (yes paranoia) the impact lol...bon kite m al vizite my scores...ou fe m miss yo LOL... It took me two years to gain 80 points lol SO GIRL I KNOW how hard it can be lol....but 750 is right around the corner with my new found strategy :) wish me luck...
chazou...mwen pa trust those people who promise loopholes in the system...the system is the system and there are no ways to go around it LEGALLY, lol...just like losing weight and maintaining weight loss...it is time consuming, lots of discipline in saying no and VERY VERY HARD WORK...(adje moi!)
