It's cool to see people unite to celebrate and give tribute to our ancestors. Although, what I find interesting is how many people forget what they actually stood for and the roads they paved once the celebration is over. The words "united we stand, divided we fall" is a motto that is used in so many countries therefore translated in so many languages, yet the concept of being united still seems foreign at times. I don't believe our ancestors are looking to be celebrated, I feel they're looking to see growth in their mission so that they can celebrate.
Boston Caribbean Carnival is this weekend people, so enjoy & play it safe! One!
